Welcome to the 2008-2009 Secong Grade Glass of Sacred Heart School. This is a very special year primarily because the children will receive two sacraments. We have prepared for and received our second sacrament - Reconciliation. Currently, we are preparing for First Eucharist. This is an exciting time for the children and your families. Academics - Unit 3 in reading is giving us a lot of information on animal camouflage, along wiht new phonetics and writing skills. We have just completed a Math section on double-digit adding and subtracting with and without regrouping. Continue to practice Math flashcards at home, as this will help with the previously mentioned skills. Math fact sheets are sent home weekly. AR reports are sent home weekly. The number of points your child has earned and the current goals are on these reports.
